Pilates

During the prenatal period the body is going through massive transitions. Becky’s Pilates Matwork classes will be able to help guide you through clarity of movement during these changes as well as balancing muscular strength and flexibility. She will focus on the healing and powerful practice of the breath and help build the mental and physical clarity and strength that will help each mum through each stage of their pregnancy.

Pilates will also help bridge the gap between pre and post natal with focus on the labour itself. Exploring labouring positions, using imagery as a tool, breathing techniques and endurance preparation.

Then when baby has arrived into the world Becky will be able to help with rehabilitating through modified Pilates movements during each phase of this postnatal stage. Group classes with or without babies is a great way to meet other mums and share your experiences.
As each individual will be experiencing the pre & postnatal stage completely differently this is mirrored in Becky’s classes through each stage with movement.

Currently Becky is teaching a group Postnatal Class at RESET Studio in Kinning Park. Private 1:1 or even 2:1 sessions are available at various locations for both Pre & Postnatal. She is looking forward to meeting you at class!
